Position Summary
Hint is video content creation and experience shop with an award-winning track record of bringing media solutions to agencies and brands for more than 20 years.  We continue to evolve by offering creative strategy, ideas and production solutions to a wide variety of clients.  As a part of our sales team, you will be seeking new project opportunities across various industries in the Midwest region.  If you have a track record of demonstrating your ability to establish strong relationships, ability to maintain, develop and grow the base of existing business and effectively develop new relationship opportunities, then you’re person we’re looking for. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in the utilization of a clinical sales approach, including pipeline projection and management. The ability to communicate effectively is key. While knowledge of the video production industry would certainly be helpful, it’s not necessarily required.  This position requires variable hours of service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential opportunities ;
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of opportunities at hand ;
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume and nature of clientele ;
  • Keep management informed by presenting reports of activity and projected pipeline ;
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and making recommendations to management ;
  • Contribute to Hint marketing efforts and events with a perspective based on market perception ;

Additional Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company policies and promote Hint values and culture ;
  • Track expenses against potential clients / opportunities ;

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience selling to mid-sized business owners and/or C-Level professionals ;
  • Local marketing experience, lead generation, prospecting and networking ;
  • Must be outgoing, articulate, have strong organizational and time management skills, persuasiveness, analytical abilities and strong negotiation skills ;
  • Ability to prospect, network and cold call ;
  • Familiarity with a sales CRM software solution with reporting capability ;
